My sister called me the other day saying she stumbled on a few things from our younger modeling days and that I just had to see them. It was a kick taking a trip down memory lane…check out this magazine cover from 1983 with my mom and sister and this oh-so-dramatic headshot:
Man, I miss those “Addicted to Love” red lipstick days…I’m just glad my hair didn’t look too “early 80s” if you know what I mean. I’m pretty sure all the embarrassing photos were “lost in a fire”. *Ahem*
But the best part was this quote from the article:
Elizabeth came home ready for anything, being a star sounds fine to her. And just in case it doesn’t work out, she’s studying at night for her real estate license.
I couldn’t believe it – I was 20 when that was written! Needless to say, I didn’t end up a runway star – I decided I liked eating more than standing on one foot for a half hour…basically, if you can put peanut butter on it, I’m there.
So here I am some years later (don’t worry about how many, ok?) realizing my new purpose of connecting people to great things, be it a new home, the right decorator, THE place to get a great glass of wine, or even a Fashion Stylist/Color Expert (like my good friend Brenda Cooper). This is what really embodies The Fine Art of Real Estate and my fine art of living.
I apparently knew what was good for me, even if it took me a little while to get there. So, now that I’m where I want to be, let me help YOU get there, too. Call me anytime you have a question about real estate, fashion, or whatever. I’m here. 🙂
