Why We ❤️️ It:
- Character. A unique floorplan, with two living areas (one with vaulted wood ceiling, fireplace, and skylight) that open to a centralized patio.
- Light. No shortage of windows and sliding doors here - plus that skylight mentioned above!
- Condition. Had a sole owner for 50 years who kept up the home well. Mostly original - perfect for creating exactly what you want.
The FULL Story:
When you step inside you will find yourself standing in the entryway, with the kitchen ahead, the first living room to your left, and the bedrooms down the hall to your right.

From the living room, you can see the patio that also connects to the second living room in the back of the house (but I'll come back to that).
Step to the right through the doorway and you're in the kitchen. Good-sized and quite functional, it is definitely the heart of the home. From here you have access to both living rooms, the laundry room (w/a door to the back yard), through the half bath to the bedrooms, and also to the front foyer. And with its simple layout, it could easily be updated for a more modern look.
There is a dining room off the kitchen on your way to the back part of the house. From there, you'll take a small step down into the back living room. A vaulted, wood ceiling (and back wall) gives a warm ambiance and the skylight provides ample sunlight. Add a touch of cozy with the fireplace in the corner, complete with floor to ceiling brickwork behind.
Through that half bath I mentioned earlier, or down the hallway from the front door, are the three bedrooms and full bath. Original wood floors run throughout the bedrooms, and the bathroom has a full tub with shower over.
Head out to the back yard through either the door off the laundry room or through the sliding doors in the back living room. There is plenty of room for a deck and then some out here. The trees around the perimeter offer substantial privacy.
