Find your inner peace where tranquility meets versatility...
Friday, August 18
4:30pm - 6:30pm
Why We ❤️️ It:
- Location. “Like living in a park,” says Mrs. Seller. The Shadow Rock Estates are home to beautiful trees, greenery, and wildlife. Plus it’s just 45 minutes from Boreal Mountain Resort to the East and Sacramento to the West! Auburn, the “Endurance Capital of the World”, is home to year round farmers markets, art walks, historic buildings, and fine dining.
- Lives like a one story. The main living areas are on the first level - the “upstairs”. Downstairs has 2 bedrooms, a full & half bath, a bar area with fridge, and outside access making it a perfect secondary living space or “in-law” quarters.
- Tranquility. There’s a time in the afternoon evening where the sun dances through the trees and it feels like you’re in a fairytale. Sit by the art fountain, enjoy the breeze as the leaves fall gently from the branches above and take a deep breath.
The FULL Story
The center foyer allows you to see the open living room and dining room as well as straight through the back doors to the incredible view. To your immediate right are the stairs to the lower level, and to your left is the hallway to the living spaces.

But first, let’s talk a little more about the living room. While it is open to the foyer and dining room, the step down establishes a boundary that feels cozy but not separate. This is a perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or relax by the fire in the evening.
Go past the stairs and through the dining room (with its own deck access and picturesque view) to the family room and kitchen. Notice the two-way fireplace between the dining and extra family room (deck access in there as well!)
Handsome cabinetry lines the back wall and corner of the kitchen, and the color of the granite countertop & backsplash compliment one another. Warm and inviting, this kitchen was made for gatherings. The center island is the hub, with a 6 burner gas range and a serious amount of counter space.
You’ll find plenty of storage in the walk-in pantry, and just past it, there is the large laundry room with its own half bath.
On the other side of the house, you’ll find two guest bedrooms (one with deck access), a large guest full bath, as well as the master suite.
The master has a lovely view through the sliding doors. Walk out on your deck and take in the day first thing in the morning. You’ll be ready for anything after that! The master bath has a stand-alone shower and large soaking tub. Relax while watching the large art fountain outside while you’re soaking in a bubble bath!
Take the stairs down to the rec room. In the stairwell is the door to the oversized two-car garage. Storage space!
The rec room gives a variety of options. Laminate floors are forgiving of all types of shoes and activities and the deck access (yes, there’s a lower level deck, too!) means taking the party outdoors is a snap.
Check out this bar - plenty of storage space for wine and spirits, as well as a large closet for all your extras.
A half bath resides next to the bar, and a hallway takes you to the two extra guest rooms and another full guest bath. Both guest bedrooms have sliding doors to the deck, but the far bedroom also comes with access to the side yard where the art fountain lives.
Both decks run the length of the whole back side of the house, with outdoor stairs connecting both. Being surrounded by tall trees and residing on a hill give this home unique views. Overlook your patch of green in the leveled “steps” down the side yard.
4 large fountains live throughout the front, from the driveway to the “wall”. Out there you’re surrounded by vivid colors and sounds - colored bowls catch the sun and the stone fountain sounds like a babbling brook. Who needs Calgon when you live here?
